Jill Flores, M.S., CCC-SLP Jill completed her speech and language training at Emerson College in Boston, in 1997. She earned her undergraduate degree at Sarah Lawrence College, specializing in Child Development. Jill maintains a Hanen certification by running several Hanen parent training programs each year and engaging in advanced trainings to enrich her Hanen specialty.
Jill has worked in a variety of settings both prior to and within her role as a private therapist. She has expertise working with children with Autism, Childhood Apraxia, language processing disorders and bilingual exposure. Within the last year, Jill has consulted for several of San Francisco's cooperative preschools. She has also been working on expanding our offerings of the Hanen Program.
Jill enjoys sharing her understanding of communication difficulties with her community. She has lectured within the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department at UCSF. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, salsa dancing and being outdoors.
Kristy HirokawaKristy is an administrative assistant at Bridges to Communication. She received a bachelor's degree in anthropology from the University of Iowa in 2004 and a master's degree in socio-cultural anthropology from the University of California, Davis in 2005. Kristy is currently completing a masters degree in Communication Disorders at San Francisco State University. Prior to moving to San Francisco, she worked as an executive assistant in the international programs office at the University of California, Davis.
